From Inspiration to Innovation: The Story of the Soufflé Burger
Inspired by the soft texture of soufflé and the traditional charm of Taiwan wheel cakes, the Founder set out on a heartfelt mission to create a delicious treat that is healthy for all ages crafted with pure and honest ingredients to delight without worrying about chemical additives or overly processed ingredients.
After ten months of hands-on experimenting with various flours, fresh ingredients and custom-built machines, the classic wheel cake was transformed into a savory, wholesome creation—the Soufflé Burger.
This innovative snack features a golden, fluffy shell and a hearty filling of fresh eggs and Sanxing scallions from Yilan, known for their natural sweetness and rich aroma. The result is a warm, satisfying, and guilt-free bite that reflects the soul of Yilan.
In 2020, it was voted Luodong Night Market’s No.1 specialty food in an online poll, and in 2024, it was proudly featured on Taiwan Eastern Television’s food program proudly turning a simple dream for the Founder into a heartwarming local favourite loved by families across Taiwan.
To take the experience further, we handcrafted our own Signature Mala Sauce, bold in flavor, numbing aroma that spice lovers crave but with a gentle heat even children and first-timers can enjoy.
Through the thoughtful combination of our wholesome Soufflé Burger and Signature Mala Sauce, the Mala Soufflé Burger was born. From the streets of Taiwan to the taste buds of Malaysia, it brings a new kind of comfort food, a unique fusion of fiery flavor and soft, satisfying warmth. This is the heart behind our tagline, “Mala for Everyone” delivering the addictive mala taste everyone loves, in a way that’s gentle, comforting, and made to be enjoyed by everyone.
